National Conference of College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL)
The National Conference of College Women Student Leaders (referred to as “nick-whistle”) is held each summer on the campus of University of Maryland at College Park, which is near Washington D.C. AAUW co-hosts NCCWSL with NASPA, the association of student affairs administrators in higher education.
About 1,000 college women attend each year to learn, collaborate, and be inspired. Students attend workshops, meet role models, hear national leaders speak, and make connections for life.
AAUW Dallas has sponsored students to attend NCCWSL in the following years:
2017 – Jennifer Oyee and Allyssa Karpel
2016 – Anna Yao
2015 – Jeamileth Hernandez
2014 – Diamond Amie
2013 – Nancy Bustos
Each sponsored student is also a AAUW Dallas scholarship recipient and was selected for NCCWSL based on their scholarship renewal application.
